Alexander Lee is a saxophonist based in the California Bay Area who is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in saxophone performance at the Michigan State University studying under Professor Joseph Lulloff. Prior to this, he received a MM in saxophone performance at the University of Missouri - Kansas City studying under Professor Zachary Shemon and a BM in saxophone performance and a BA in music education at the University of California, Los Angeles studying under Dr. Jan Berry Baker.  

Most recently, he has competed in the live rounds of the 8th International Adolphe Sax competition. He has previously studied with Douglas Masek and Dale Wolford as well as playing masterclasses for Timothy McAllister, Otis Murphy, and Nicki Roman. Alex was invited to perform and present the premiere of a new work, Expectation by Woody Mo in the 2024 Biannual North American Saxophone Alliance Conference.
